Suleyman Deveci holds both an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul, Turkiye. He started his career in Istanbul at Dizayn Group as a researcher in 2005 and joined Borouge Innovation in 2012. Since joining Borouge, he has held multiple technical positions within the company’s Innovation function and currently works as the Head of the Infrastructure Centre of Excellence at the Borouge Innovation Centre in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

He serves on several ISO technical committees and working groups (ISO TC 138 and ISO TC61), representing the UAE. He is also a member of the research board at The Welding Institute (TWI, UK), sits on the board of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Middle East Section, acts as Chairman of the Technical Committee of the PE100+ Association, and is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Mechanical & Nuclear Engineering at Khalifa University, UAE. He holds multiple international patents and has co-authored over fifty journal and conference publications. Since 2017, he has been a member of the PPCA organizing committee.
